"I then painted the glass on with the varnish. It goes on very easily by and large, but you need to take care as the cloth is so light it can be pulled out of shape very easily and you can end up with a bit of a mess. So stippling is much better than brushing."

I watched a video on Youtube of a Dutch modeller using two and a half inch wide foam rollers, as opposed to the normal 5" ones, to put the varnish onto the glasscloth, and it didn't pull at all. I think this could be a better way than brushing. I intend to try it (much) later when I get to that stage on my present project.

My Depron Delta and my Body for the Pushy Cat both use the same system.

I have been trying to establish how much extra weight that (they) it incurred. As I did undertake a measure, as is usual I cannot find the reference, other than it is nothing, in real terms, probably comparable to Solarfilm. It is a hell of a lot stronger though.

The Bronco is on my build list.

I was asked to post some photos when mine is finished. Well it's very nearly finished, and I thought it's close enough to post. I still need some minor details such as the panel lines, some furniture on the u/c legs and a few blobs of colour, but here it is. It flies very well, tips the scales at 2lb exactly (900g) without LiPo, has flown on 1300 to 3300 mAhr 3S, and is a real pleasure. I dislodged the nose leg on the second flight, I'd just not made the mount for the retract strong enough, no problem to remedy that. Now, I need to remind myself how to upload photos....
