Ben B
Does anyone have a good way of storing small lipos? I have quite a few for my hubsan h4, blade sr120, mqx quad, sbach as3x etc. Carrying them in my pocket feels a bit risky. Ideally I would find a padded holder with pockets for the batteries. Does such a thing exist? I am imaging it would be designed for storing something else but reimagined for lipos. But what?
The Wright Stuff
If you type 'Lipo Storage' into the search box, there are many threads already. I use a small ammo box filled with foam for 3S Lipos, but no reason it couldn't be used for smaller ones... Ben B
I was thinking something small for carrying them to the pad. I'm sorted for storing my big lipos but a whole ammo box for a 360mAH 1s battery seems excessive
The Wright Stuff
Ah, okay, I assumed you meant you had a whole pile of them... A small digital camera case?
Bob Cotsford
Hobbyking list some soft LiPo storage bags that are about 6"*6"*8" with a zipped top, I've got a couple for my spare Rx type batteries
Paul McCaughey
i have mostly been flying micros the past few years and i kept my 1s batteries stuck to the inside of my tx case with the velcro. had to upgrade and expand the numbers of them due to different models and types so about to utilise an old minature whiskey gift tin as storage. going to put some velcro on a few strips of foam board so that i have them all 'sized' and ordered. the added benefit of the foam board strip is that you can orientate the direction depending on charge status. i tend to use terminal to the right = good to go. Kevin Wilson
I use a compartmented box such as is sold for fishing tackle or craft storage. All the guys that I fly indoors with, use an assortment of plastic boxes. But it sounds like you were after something fireproof, so probably not the nswer you were looking for. Martin Harris - Moderator
There are some quite small LiPo sacks available if you look around - or how about something like this?
