Posted July 17, 2014 Share Posted July 17, 2014 hi i was recently given a powered glider and there was a graupner 700 turbo 9.v motor in it (all searches saying its a boat motor) and i want to change it for a brushless motor can anyone recommend a brushless equivelent ??? Any brushless motor the same power is going to be a lot lighter or if the same weight will be able to give much more power. Is the motor mounted within the nose ? Do you intend to mount the brushless in the same way & is there room for an outrunner ? Do you have a budget in mind ? Do you intend to use lipos if so how many (e.g. 2s, 3s, 4s)?
