Dave Hopkin
Ok, I have divested myself of several English Pounds and am now the proud owner of a Hobbyking Wing Camera - **LINK** Sussed out how to switch the thing on and film and can view it on the TV using the banana plugs into the AV input But how do I get the "footage" onto my Laptop? What else do I need to get?
John Privett
It looks like it records onto a micro-SD card, so your easiest option is probably to take the card out of the camera, pop it into a full-size SD-card adaptor and plug it into your laptop (if it has a slot for an SD card - otherwise via a USB-SD card reader) and then copy the files from the card. Dave Hopkin
I tried taking the mirco SD Card out and using a full size adaptor putting it into a Digital SLR card slot, but it just came up with read error! My Lappy doesn't have a card slot (or I haven't found it!) So its off to fleabay for a USB DD Card Reader then!!!! Cheers
Pete B
Go to the product page and look under the 'Files' tab. Download the 3 page PDF 'Wing Cam', which contains all the necessary instructions. Section 9 for downloading video files. It seems a USB - Mini-USB lead is supplied. If you connect the cam to the PC using this lead, the PC should recognise it as an external device and you can cut and paste the files onto your PC.
