Eamonn Fahey
Look what I found:- Like Paul, I use the Radio Modeller tool regularly. All the other free gifts like Quick Links, Fuel Tube Stoppers, Fuel Tube Retention Springs, etc. were all used over the years.
i12fly
Its easy enough to make your own gauge for balsa using a piece of scrap plastic or even ply. just allow a bit for max tolerance, the differences between sheet sizes are quite dramatic, even 1/32, 1/16, 3/32. Similar for piano wire, although it is better to use a piece of brass plate or aluminium. Round the corners off so it doesn't wear a hole in your pocket. I'm a big fan of the free plans, especially Peter Miller's since I built a Harlequin -nice size at 57" span, brilliant flyer, plenty of power and so economical on a 32.
