Adrian Smith 1
I was looking at a youtube vid of an Italian guy filming his Inverza 62 whilst flying, with a camera attached to a head set. I was wondering where I can look at some of these things without costing the earth. Any suggestions? Thanks.
leccyflyer
One of the occasional posters here -Eflightray - uses a Keychain cam mounted on the side of his flying glasses and gets excellent results - I intend to shamelessly copy the idea
eflightray
Some one called, and he appears The Keychain 808 #16 is what I use, (a few videos on Youtube under 'eflightray', not all with the #16, (HD), some are the #5 and #11, not so good) And here my rig -- Simple, the rig and me
Adrian Smith 1
Topnotch Eflightray! That looks like the way to go, so much more straightforward. Thank you.
eflightray
The biggest problem is making sure you follow the plane with your head, not your eyes, especially when flying overhead. Yes i have a lot of video with no plane showing. Putting a small, (removable), dot on one lens of the glasses gives a good 'aiming point'. Now I like that. I was thinking wire frames al la 30s News photographers. A dot..... Brilliant

Rosco
I use an 808#16 on the brim of my cap.You can see some of my stuff on YouTube under 'oldschoolhg'Rosco
Rosco
I should have mentioned that my 808 has the wide angle lens so I always get my plane in shot but I sort of know where to have my cap too. The only issue I have is that the wide angle lens tends to make the model small on the vid even though it may be close.
Adrian Smith 1
Good advice Rosco. Hadn't thought of that.
