kevin b
Yes Eric. Very nice. Unfortunately beyond my current flying skills, but something to work towards. How does Mrs Eric like her new dining room ornament ?

Josip Vrandecic -Mes
Hello and congratulations Eric ! , I think you'll have a great pleasure to fly with the famous war bird. I'm flying with P-51 Durafly 1100 Old Crow, and it is very scale with good flight characteristics. I wish you a successful maiden and many flights ,also I expect more of your pics in the future. Greetings from Adriatic Sea Jo

ericrw
Re my Big Beautiful Doll. When I balance the model inverted should the retracts be up or down ??
ChrisB
Hi Eric, have you flown it since I did last year? It seemed ok then. I tend to balance right way up and do it with the retracts at their rear most, which with a mustang is likely to be wheels down, as they sweep very slightly forward when folded. You going to Long Marston? I'll be there on Sunday. Cheers Chris
Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
I would balance inverted - as I would for any low winger, not because its particularly better, just easier! Like Chris I would put the wheels in whatever position they are most likley to push the CoG backwards - that's the "worse case scenario"! BEB PS Lovely model - enjoy!
