Fingerless
Can anyone tell me where i put the servo leads in the receiver for crow braking in a Radian Pro or any glider with 2 ailerons and 2 flap wing. I have the Sailplane update for the DX8 and the Radian Pro setting from Spektrum site, but have no idea where the servo leads should go into the receiver, any help would be great. Steve Colman
I'm in a very similar position Fingerless. Some research led me to the following albeit the setup is for the Tx in acro mode. Right Aileron servo lead into Rx Ail Left Aileron servo lead into Rx Aux1 Right flap servo lead into Rx Aux2 Left flap servo lead into Rx Gear Others with more knowledge/experience than me can perhaps confirm whether this is indeed the case. Frank Skilbeck
Speedster Den did a video of a four servo wing set up here I seemed to recall from my friends Dx8 though that you can't have throttle on the throttle stick in sailplane mode (it uses throttle stick for crow braking), but that might be because we were doing something wrong. Also his glider had a retract and airbrakes (no flaps) and we couldn't get that to work in the sailplane setting so we ended reverting to acro mode. Fingerless
I will try this Right Aileron servo lead into Rx Ail Left Aileron servo lead into Rx Aux1 Right flap servo lead into Rx Aux2 Left flap servo lead into Rx Gear like you mentioned, the problem now is what switches you assign all this to on the transmitter, thanks anyway. You can set the motor to thottle stick, You do it in Wingtype screen, and then make the 1-2-3 Black in next screen , then it Works in all 3 flt modes. But I would go for thottle in the flaps switch and crow thottlestick When setting up crowbrake, be sure to set it all flt modes (If you want it) so you dont get surpriced of the crow dont Work if you try to land in another flt mode Thottle on flaps switch with adjustable half thottle Good luck Soren Edited By Speedster on 25/07/2015 20:25:
