Paul Marsh
I got the B-17 last week, and as the B-17 is my favourite WWII Bomber, although got the Lancaster and B-25 (both are really good flyers, just love this B-17. Ok the Eflite one is ok, but this is so much better, being a good size, and featuring scale retracts and flaps. Thinking of getting the silver one, and hopefully the whole B-17 themes in the range. Who else has got one? Edited By Paul Marsh on 19/09/2015 21:59:
Andy Ennis
That looks quite nice. Not got the Freewing one, but I have got a version by Max-Thrust (the one in my avatar). It's a bit bigger at 80" span, but it flies great. Andy
Paul Marsh
I just bought another one now, brand new, but the silver one. Want to get a complete set... The one above has already had over a dozen flights in less than a week. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121765190807?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2648&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Edited By Paul Marsh on 20/09/2015 13:04:

Ian Mat
How do they fly? I love the foamy war birds but have found that some of them have compromised handling despite looking great.
Paul Marsh
Fly really well, using the flaps does slow it down well. also the u/c is sprung with a pivot arm, so even a medium hard lading, the oleo takes the bounce and stops a cycle where the plane is caught in a series of hops. I've got the B-25 as well, and the Lanc, the Lanc does fly faster and has no rudder, but these B-17's and the B25 are pure fun. Both have flaps which does well. Waiting for a B-29 next...
