Eagle 899
Hi All, Mulling through the BMFA classifieds during this rotten wx I noticed this:- DJI 450 Quadcopter with 4 Emax Motors and ESC to suit motors. The Quad is fitted with an Open Pilot Copter Control Board. It also has a Cyclops Storm OSD and GPS unit. Would it be suitable for a novice Quad flyer? I have experience flying fixed wing (A cert) and just fancied having a go. TIA Shep
Frank Skilbeck
I have a 250 quad with a Open Pilot CC3D board and I'm quite pleased with it, the hook up to the PC and set up is quite easy. I don't think you have any problems and quads are easier to fly that regular helis.
Eagle 899
I eventually bought a DJI 450 and flew it a few times but the novelty has worn off so it's in the BMFA classified ads if any forumite fancies trying a quad:- **LINK**
