Don Fry
Bending wire on arrival is an alternative to broken fuselages on arrival. Pays yer money takes yer choice. Something has to absorb the energy.

rcaddict
seen a reference to the "new version of tundra" in HK discussions (21/8/16) - anyone know about this I just love my tundra
John Maggs
I have recently bought a Tundra (ARF) from HK No instruction book included. The online file download is for the PNF version. Worked out most of the construction but not sure how to attach motor. Considering screwing a 6mm ply firewall to the four plastic holes and a "star" mounting bolted to that. Any advice or detail of what others have done most welcome John
andyh
I have the PNF so I haven't had to do what you're asking about, but this is the spare part for the mount: **LINK** you don't say whether you're using the HK OEM motor that fits the mount, but hopefully it should give you an idea. I love my Tundra, I think I must have 300+ flights on it, hope you enjoy yours too
Keith Sharples
My Tundra motor which came with it as PNF is mounted direct to the plastic mount with a star mount as Andyh link. I love my tundra and have some great fun with it, I wouldn't be without it. Hope you get yours up ok and have equal fun. PS watch those barn door flaps though!!!!! keep high until you understand what they do. Nothing worse than on the base leg and you drop them then it does a loop of it's own accord when you weren't expecting it!
John Maggs
Thanks Andy and Keith Unfortunately HK have no stock of the OEM motor so will be adapting to suit the motor I have Looking forward to finishing and flying it
