Hi. I'm puzzled why you need a stabilized rx in a Tundra. I have a Tundra and use a lemon 6 channel rx. Never had any twitching problems and it always flys around very stable with no problems at all. It's my most flown model, I use it as a warm up model as it's so stable. In fact nearly all my models have 6 channel lemon rx's in and never had a problem. The Tx is a Spektrum DX9 on DSMX

Why do a lot of you seem to enjoy having a go at ebay sellers, it make me angry some of the comments on here. The guy with the Hurricane he/she does say "built by an expert" they do not neccessarily say it is him/herself!!! Some of you have assumed it is the seller. And any balsa basher on here will know a beautiful swan emerges from every ugly duckling build process. Ebay is an auction site, you see the item in the pictures you check the rating of the seller and make a decission to bid or buy now (if the item has that). If you think an item is over priced or not worth 2 pence you don't bid/buy. It's your choice to go either way. Why is it felt necessary to HAVE A GO at some sellers for trying. Don't forget some people don't realise as they may of been out of the hobby a long time how things and prices have changed. Why can't people just give people a break, there is to much verbal lashing out in this world which some take pleasure from and that saddens me. PS. I am not a ebay seller, I do purchase a lot though and out of 550 plus purchases, I've had 2 problems that were dealt with swiftly by ebay.

Its been suggested to go a find some hills & practice with the Bixler & Ranger 2000 using as little power as possible to help with just using the controls. Why do so many if you on this forum knock ebay sellers. Yes there is some rubbish out there but why knock people for trying to sell it. You make it sound like they are idiots and after all it's the buyer that decides to buy it or not. Also take into account that some of them may well of left the hobby ages ago and not be away of how things and prices have changed. What is rubbish to some is gold to others.

I'm with Flyer and Flyboy 3. I'm in Wales and still on lockdown. The little grumble is the club field is about 5 miles into England, all of the members live in England, I'm the only one in the club that lives in Wales and then it's one mile in. Hay Ho, still have time to finish some new models.

Clear plastic document covers, the type you use when you comb bind pages togeather into booklet form. Another I use is pop bottles make a shaped canopy plug, cut the top off the bottle and wedge the plug tight up against the inside of the bottle using bits of wood as wedges. Use a hot air gun to then shrink/mould the bottle around the plug. Keep the hot gun moving or the plastic will turn white from overheating.

I have a GT Power X4 Charger it's 4 channels at 100W per channel. It can charge 4 batteries at once. You can charge different types of battery at the same time as well. I also have 4, 50watt single channel chargers so technically I can charge 8 batteries at the same time. I tend to only use the GT power charger though. This situation is very fluid and in the end when the lockdown starts to lift (more than likely in a phased way) it is still down to individuals to start to do some things or not. I am a photographic judge and lecturer and I have canceled all my bookings until at least February next year and if this lockdown carries on much longer it will be September next Year. I'm desperate to get out on the sticks but I value my life, my loved ones lives and the life of others much much more not to mix to early. So a waiting game. I have a Slec stripper which was good but I had issues with variance of thickness of the strips I cut. I now have a Proxxon KS 230 bench saw, to my mind it's a no brainer not to have one. It cuts perfect strips every time. would'nt be with out it now.

Our chairman had an advisory email from the BMFA saying (and it's common sense really) don't cut flying patches as to travel to them to do the job would be classed as a nonessential journey. Which of course it is. SO golf courses, the way I see it if the person doing the cutting has to drive there then no it should not be done NON ESSENTIAL TRAVEL. A grey area is if the person doing the cutting lives on site!! But surely even doing the task itself is non essential. Being a bit cynical, the demographic membership of the majority of golf clubs is of the more ..............well to do ........... have a social standing, especially where I live...... (best way I can put it). To let the golf course go to rack and ruin as seen by the social standing membership as mentioned, is just not on, no matter what the crisis and social restrictions are imposed on us. Now the flying field which is very simular in habitat (isolated) can just go to rack and ruin. Strikes me as one rule them and another for the rest of us. But it still comes down to the NON ESSENTIAL TRAVEL in the end Turned into a bit of a rant sorry.

Up to 8.30pm last night before our excuse of a leader said only essential travel for food shopping, medical, etc. I was going to the field, first break in the weather with light winds. BUT, SO WHAT, STAY HOME, STAY SAFE, SLOW THE SPREAD OF THIS VIRUS TO HELP EACH OTHER.
