Tim Lewton
Organised a fantastic club weekend, lots of effort, all in aid of a fabulous local charity. A great fly in,club flyers really enjoyed the chance of a club showcase, superb, two day event. A chap who thought he was above the law decided to do a low fly by having been told he was not welcome to do so, putting the lives of hundreds of visitors at risk and again totally illegal. What a shame we go through all the correct channels respect the system respect the neabours then within a couple of minutes a poorly qualified pilot loosely named, Stuart Bishop of the Weston park planning can ruin it. This will probably not be published but, shame it needs to be.
Tim Lewton
It seems this has been published and I am very pleased, Facebook seems to have blocked it. After what I saw this weekend drones are welcome, badly pilotded micro lights are not. From a prefessional pilots point of view it was a poor show. I've always said the cause of most accidents is ignorance Ie not being given the full facts proceeding the event and being unable to perceive the outcome of such tragedy or arrogance which will fly in the face of the known situation regardless of the consequences. I always feel sorry for the later because the unknown get involved by default.
Tim Lewton
Personally having seen what I saw this weekend I will not be attending the Weston park show due to the lack of obvious lack of consideration for safety over crowd safety over egos. Sorry for the rant but to be fair back to the title keep it safe. In any way you can.

Martin Harris - Moderator
If you're saying that a microlight was flown over a small crowd under 500 feet then isn't this a matter for the CAA?
ChrisB
Tim, you make some valid points but you haven't clarified what you mean by a low fly-by and what kind of aircraft. Initially I thought you meant a model?! CB
The Wright Stuff
It's fair to raise concerns at an individual's behaviour, but please don't forget that Weston Park is bigger than one person!
