Nigel Luther
Anyone else with this cheap intro model to the world of 3D printing ? i bought it to work alongside my 40w Chinese Laser machine - which has proven to be absolutely gold ... As my other thread - I am putting together the Chris Golds Lancaster but instead of using block foam as he did - I built a light pine frame and then slotted in 6mm Depron sheet to complete the basic fuselage ... next is to frame up and spar wings ... using 6mm Depron ribs and sheet with pine spars. The 3D printer is going to be working overtime creating parts for this ... Nigel Edited By Nigel Luther on 04/03/2017 13:56:
Ian Jones
Hi Nigel, is this it PrintRiteDIYPrinter ? Doesn't appear to be available for the UK at the moment, looks quite like a Prusa i3 based design though. Keep us posted on the Lanc, I'm sure we'll all be interested to see what you do. Oops I see you are doing the Lanc on another thread. Edited By Ian Jones on 08/03/2017 22:11:
MaL
Link not working Ian.. try **LINK** Aus warehouse only at the moment. Looks ok though..just a little concerned at the z axis rigidity, especially as the leadscrews are not supported at the top. does it wobble as the x-axis ascends Nigel?
