Frank Skilbeck Posted August 5, 2008 Share Posted August 5, 2008 JohnI've got one of these nice model with no vices, just make sure you use a 2100 3s lipo to get it to balance and give a reasonable flight time. I set my timer at 6 mins.I also added a bit of velco at the front of the canopy as the catch isn't that secure.Tempted to rip the decals off mine now and give it a paint. I used foam safe cyano and 5 minute epoxy.As for the lipo, I have a 3s 2200mAh Lipo (3 cell, 11.1v, 25-30C) from Electrolite, but any 3 cell will do as long as its around 2000mAh or better. Friends are flying theirs on 1800mAh.(You may already understand this but in case you don't - the more mAh, the longer the flight will last, and the higher the C rating, the longer it'll keep the top end performance up).
