Derek Proctor Posted August 5, 2008 Share Posted August 5, 2008 Hi all, first topic for me.I have a Walkera 4#3b.(metal and plastic)I need some Thread lock.Ive heard normal thread lock is no good for plastic, so can someone please tell me the right Thread lock to lock a metal screw into plastic.I dont want to use super glue; i might need to dismantle it againThank you.Derek. Kevin Davies 2 Posted August 6, 2008 Share Posted August 6, 2008 hi again derek. my mistake the product is called stud and bearing fit. after talking to the loctite agent he confirmed its o.k. for metal and plastic. i have used it on my robins22 and my Cx2 with no ill effects. J B Posted August 9, 2008 Share Posted August 9, 2008 Why not try Tamiya thread lock, if I remember rightly, most of there off road cars are a mixture of plastic/metal/GRP and it used to be coloured green in a tube.
