Thanks Jimmac, had a similar problem with veneer lifting and wondered if you had a magic solution! Did the same as you with a syringe and PVA but PVA does expand the veneer a bit. Thanks anyway!

Depending on the glue used originally, applying a covering iron may re-adhere the veneer.

Yep, they were great fun models.

IIRC, the foam wing had a symmetrical root of conventional section, transistioning to a flat plate at the tip. As anyone who has ever tried to cut a foam delta will tell you, its very difficult to use conventional root and tip sections as you get massive kerf issues where the wire is moving really slowly at the tip. I suspect these deltas were cut by using a template at the root and a flat guide at the tip, but moving the wire parallel to the LE, which doe s work well.

All deltas tend to have benign stall characteristics, and the Crusader could be flown very slowly, nose high, indeed.

I've been using UHU Contact adhesive recently. I came across it in a smallish local department store (Boyers) where amongst a wide range of clothing etc they stock hobby stuff like a good range of Humbrol paint. They have a lot of UHU adhesive types including the Contact and Por.

The Contact, like Por is foam benevolent (at least it was on the veneer that was detaching from the foam fuselage parts on the old Skyways Mew Gull kit I'm slowly building) but it may be wise to check for yourself. If you leave it to go off for 10 minutes it really grabs. I'm going to use it for sticking doublers on future builds.
