tigerman
Anyone tell me what the new FMS1700mm models are like .Like the look of the 1700mm Corsair but just see a video of a maiden of a FMS 1700mm Corsair and the tail exploded for no reason wrecking the model which made me think I might be better of with Flightline 1600mm Spitfire ( if I can find someone that will deliver it this side of Christmas !!!)So anyone tell me which is a better model FMS or Flightline ? Gordon Tarling
I have a Flightline P-38 and am very happy with it. I haven't felt the need to replace any of the hardware so far, though I did replace the wheels for something that had better looks. I also have an FMS P-47 and the difference is like chalk and cheese - it flys nicely, but the quality is nowhere as good as the P-38. As much as I love Corsairs, I think I'd choose the Spitfire in this instance.
Trevor Crook
Someone in our club has the 1700mm FMS P51. Looks good, flies great. Someone else has the Flightline Grumman Tigercat. He had some issues to overcome involving cracked spar tubes in the wings, but sorted now, and is also a great looker and flier.
