Gyros for Futaba Gear

Can someone recommend a decent quality Gyro for Futaba gear/fixed wing aircraft ?

Need one that works a bit like the good gear on the E-Flite Apprentice S 15e model - 6-axis, flight stability etc

Don't really know where to start with this one

It is really very simple Andrew, and you can keep your Futaba gear as add on stabilisers can be connected

to your receiver via 4 male to male extension leads.

4 leads are for on/off, Aileron, Rudder, Elevator

There is very little room in most foamies but if used, the stabiliser is fitted horizotally on the floor of the model and jump leads to your existing receiver.

These are 3 axis stabilisers and micro stabilisers are available

If you just want one to stablise the model in windy weather then something like this or this would do the job connected to your receivers, or this one that is FAAST compatible , but non of these have the autolevel function that is fitted to the Apprentice.

You could do this with a flight controller, eg CC3D which has a fixed wing mode, but you would need to spend a bit of time configuring and setting it up.

Franks Orange suggestion will be least intrusive addition to your gear,

No matching up or moving away from Futaba

Just fit the Orange unit between your servos and receiver via male to male leads

Really looking for one with an Autolevel function like the Apprentice - going to have to start searching a bit more

hobby eagle A3 super ii is one I used and if found it to be great. it does everything the spectrum as3x safe system does. I use a futaba 8FG transmitter

Eagletree Guardian. Slightly more expensive but has all the ASX3 functions and more including auto level.
