David Ovenden
Anyone know if there is any substance to the suggestion made on the Hobby King forum that Spektrum are bringing out a new protocol? Article hints it could mean the end of DSMX which seems an odd strategy if it is correct. **LINK** Edited By David Ovenden on 21/02/2018 22:18:
MattyB
Not according to Andy Kunz on RCGroups... It’s all to do with the Cypress chipset they use being declared as end of life, but it seems highly unlikely a company like HH has no contingency plan for this. Even so, if you want the inside track on what’s going on at HH I would humbly suggest a Hobbyking news post is unlikely to be where you get it! Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
Having said that Matty, and I'd broadly agree with you, nothing would surprise me where HH are concerned at the moment! BEB
David Ovenden
Matty I agree regarding the HK forum. That's why I was catious about the "news" when raising the question here. However, it is something Spektrum users will want to be sure about before buying more/new equipment I imagine.
