zz Posted May 11, 2018 Author Share Posted May 11, 2018 A few shots from Wings over Illawarra, held at the Illawarra Regional Airport, Albion Park, south of Sydney, NSW, 5-6 May 2018. Built by the US army in 1942 as an outfield to Nowra, the airport also houses an aircraft museum. The Spitfire is A58-758, the last delivered to RAAF, now painted as A58-602. The C27 is from 35 Sqn Richmond NSW. The MH60R has now replaced the S70B in the RAN. The F18 is from 2 OCU Williamtown NSW. The PC9 is now in its twilight years with he RAAF, soon to be replaced by the PC21. This PC9 is with the Roulettes aero team from East Sale Vic.
