PatMc Posted May 15, 2018 Share Posted May 15, 2018 I have a 3s LiFe battery fitted to my Taranis, this battery is fitted with Futaba Taranis & balance plugs. Up to now when charging I've always unplugged & removed the battery from the Tx & charged it via the Futaba plug. I'm not too keen on constantly unpluging & plugging the battery every time it's charged. Can anyone advise if there's any circuitry connected to the battery (with the Tx switched off) that might be damaged if charging was done via the Futaba plug whilst the battery remained plugged in ? Kevin Fairgrieve Posted May 16, 2018 Share Posted May 16, 2018 I did much the same, although mine was with a LiPo. Made a short extension lead to suit the Futaba style plg.
