Hammerhead Instructions

Recommended Posts

HI all just wondering if any one out there may be able to help me. I have recently picked up a second hand kit on Ebay for the 540 size Hammerhead kit. I knew the plans/instructions were missing before bidding but thought I would be able to purchase a set of instructions through Maddog designs. Unfortunately I am unable to find any website address that works anymore and Richie Carey of Maddog Designs has not posted on here for almost year so think they have closed up shop. I have followed the post on this forum a few years back with regards to construction of the 620 size version of the kit but it appears to be constructed very differently. My kit is one of the original kits distributed by Irvine and has a set of foam wings and not fully built up as shown in the posts. To be honest I thought with the years of building experience I have it would be easy to work out which parts go where, most parts are obvious but there are a number I need guidance with. If anyone has a unwanted set of instructions available and able to either email me a copy or would be willing to allow me to purchase them I would be very interest to hear from you.

hammer head 2.jpgHi Denis & Geoff attached should be a couple of box art pics. Showing the original first production model by Kingfisher Aero Designs and distributed by Irvine. Then Maddog Designs produced the kit in the three sizes 540 - 54", ( the version of instructions I am after) then 620 - 62" and the 750 - 75" but the company appears not to be trading any more. Other pics can be seen on line by Googling Maddog Designs Hammerhead (Images).hammer head 1.jpg

Thanks for your interest.

Hi Piers, yes was going to contact Richie on here after I found out all the web links were not working but as I found and Nigel points out he has not visited the forum for around a year. I am assuming of course that as Maddog Designs were also setting up a Youtube channel around about a year ago as well and nothing has been added since, that things did not turn out as planned so felt it inappropriate to even try.
