Josip Vrandecic -Mes
@Hi Martin , every time I listen to this great man , I become modest and little.... to invisibility. I watched , listened and read to many famous pilots from WW2 (books, films), I think the late Capt Eric Melrose ''Winkle'' Brown is the greatest and most intelligent flyer for all time. Note:I'm sorry, but my mood has taken me. Edited By Josip Vrandecic -Mes on 04/12/2018 21:20:
Martin Harris - Moderator
I certainly share your respect for the great man, Jo. Incredibly modest and compelling to listen to. In some earlier interviews he denied flying the Me163 under power due to instructions not to - but the twinkle in his eye meant that when he finally revealed the truth, it came as no surprise!
