Peter Eames
I am building a Tiger Moth and finishing it in RAF training colours. Does anyone know when the RAF upper wing roundel changed from red/white/blue to just red/blue. My father who did his initial RAF training on a Moth will never forgive me if I get this wrong. David Whitehouse
Have just finished my tiger moth, just the rigging to do, I have used the red white and blue on the upper wing, also decked out in the trainer yellow. All three sets where used from late 1941 till the wars end, the red/white/blue the red/blue and the red/white/blue and yellow.I have them in a pdf file, if you would like a copy I could email them, let me know.Dave

David Barker 2
Ready to fit roundels on DB Auster J1. Two have outside ring of yellow and two with outer ring in blue. Could someone tell me which goes on top of wing and which on bottom of wing. I've already fitted smaller roundel with yellow outer ring to fuselage, as these others are to big for fuselage. Auster is finished in cub yellow. Thanks for any help Dave B.
Denis Watkins
The Yellow outer was to make the roundel stand out when placed on camouflage And the Blue outer for position on plain colour
