Martin Harris - Moderator
Just received an email from SRCM - they state that at least 3 of the WOT range are back in stock, including the Extreme which rumour had it was not going to be produced any more (IIRC). brokenenglish
I asked Inwoods a few days ago, but only concerning the Wot 4, and was told that wooden Wot 4s are in the country, but in customs hassle, and foamies would be here late summer (I think!). Richard Hayward 6
I've had a Phase 5e on pre-order for a month from Sussex models. Told yesterday that it's on its way to me. The container must have cleared customs!
Bill Reed
Just been to TJD Models, and they have 20+ WOT4 kits just unpacking. Seen none for ages.
Richard Hayward 6
The model arrived from Sussex Model Centre last week. Assembly took a day and was all pretty straightforward. The only thing not covered in the instructions was how to setup the all flying tailplane. I set it to be aligned with the centreline of the fuselage. Lovely morning today, so off to the flying field. No one else there, so had to do my own launch. Almost disaster as the plane dived at the ground. Missed it with a few inches to spare - once at height, full up trim kept it nice and level. No aileron trim needed. Climbs like a dingbat on 4 cell LiPo. Loops and rolls perfectly on the low rate settings. Have set up crow braking which made the approach and landing a doddle. Two further flights and then home to correct the trim (CofG is right in the middle of the suggested band). So far, so bl@@dy good!
