Hi all I wonder if there is some out there that can please help me.

I am trying to bind an orange R618 XL to the jumper The rx binds OK but the throttle on the RX moves with the Elevator stick on the TX. I use Mode 2 and TAER on the TX. It looks like airelon and throttle are back to front .What am I doing wrong?

thanks

Bob

Hi Don

Just done another check

Rudder(left stick left right) on TX moves Rudder on RX

Throttle on TX (left stick up/down) moves Aileron on RX

Aileron on TX (right stick left/ right) move elevator on RX

Elevator on TX (right stick up/down moves Throttle on RX

Ok,

rudder servo is good.

Throttle stick servo output on RX has the aileron servo plugged into it. Move the throttle servo to this output.

Aileron stick servo output on RX has the elevator servo plugged into it. Move the aileron servo to this output.

Then the elevator servo goes into the spare output of the four main channels.

Sometimes the standard outputs of a set of non manufactures units have a different order, and so the printed channel outputs on the RX are wrong. If you are it's a pickle to sort out. But the rule is, what the transmitter says is its output, is its output.  Its the boss. I think I've got the above right, but it's a brain bender imagining it. Trial and error works until it is right.

Assuming you are using the multi-protocol module on the T16, this has most likely got automatic channel re-mapping in it. What this means is you (always) set the Tx to AETR. The module then changes this order depending on the protocol it is using. For Spektrum (and compatibles) this is TAER.

So, with the Tx set to AETR, you should find the throttle is output on channel 1 of the Rx, Aileron on 2, Elevator on 3 and Rudder on 4.
