The Tx and receiver were given to me a couple of years ago. Not knowing any different about D8/D16 I purchased a few D8Rs for the various models I have (reborn RC flier from the last century ? ). I don't need 16 channels and 8 is more than enough. No idea about Sbus etc, etc. (black magic to my last century brain.? ) I have recently purchased a couple of D16 EU/LBT receivers and they work with my Taranis and now know they are V1 compatible. The advantages I can see from Mikes upgrade is easier and selective binding as well as being able to give each receiver an individual number in D16. (I think?). Mainly I'd like to do one of the D8s, just to see if I can, and I don't mind if I "brick" it. Mike I fully understand your reluctance to publish your .frk file. and I don't blame you.
