ron evans
21-0 half time for Wales Italy look sharp in attack but fail to finish.
ron evans
Bonus point to nil win a good start. McNicholl looked good but set piece looked a bit shaky at times
Don Fry
What do want want Ron? Rusty, job done. Going to be a hard six weeks for Italy.

Don Fry
Glad yer happy Ron, I'm still depressed from the World Cup. Onward and upward. At least the new hack is nearly finished. Sick of the sight of it on the building board.
ron evans
Don I've lost my mojo when it comes to building, the new hack build is using a foam wing I made 20 yrs ago and the way It;s going the fuz will be another 20 yrs
fly boy3
It looks possible that all nations will beat Italy (could be wrong) again. So really Italy seems a warm up match for the other five teams. Hope I,m wrong as I would love Italy to get a win as they always try hard. They seem to be improving as thier under 20 team beat Wales under 20 last, night. By the way I,m Welsh. Don Fry
FB3, I'm genetically Welsh. I normally keep quiet about it.
Don Fry
Not too sure about the last post. Stop dropping the ball lads, slow down, back to basics. You want to beat France, a resurgent France, in France. Not a 10 minute job.
Don Fry
Beaten, not crushed. Onwards and upwards. Learn the lessons.
ron evans
French defence on top today. Why didn't England grab Shaun Edwards ?
Don Fry
Not sure it was on top Ron. We punched cracks in it, got exited, dropped the ball, failed to shift it out, as appropriate. Shaun, a mistake. Too akward? Can't spell. Edited By Don Fry on 02/02/2020 17:36:
ron evans
Tight game. Ireland on top...just ,Sexton kicking us to death.
ron evans
Ireland played withe so much energy in the first 50 it denied us possession, then there was no way back. As one closet Welshman said..onwards and upwards.
Don Fry
Good to watch. Ireland return to some form. Enjoyed that. Sorry Ron, that must have been a disappointment. Any next up, onwards, or still hungover from the World Cup?
ron evans
Yep, disappointed. Ireland not a happy hunting ground for us in the last few years.
Don Fry
Write a list of who gets happy there. Postage stamp, and a felt tip marker will suffice. But they looked comfortable.
john stones 1 - Moderator
Good game if you're a neutral, Irish defense sound again. England v Scotland next, what to expect.
fly boy3
All home nations will have to improve by 2022. I have just been informed that World Cup holder S Afrika are joining the six nations, so it will be the seven nations as Italy are not going to be relegated. Cheers
Don Fry
Right, a world class kicker, kicking into a gale of wind and rain. Hit rate, 1 (just), 2 missed ( by a margin). Stupid. And in play, kick it, blows back in your face. Do a line out, not straight. Keep it on the ground. On the ground we are thrashing the Scots. Do it on the ground. Second half, might sensibly kick. But, England have missed an opportunity to crush Scotland, on the ground, first half. Still in it, should be on their knees.
Peter Jenkins
I think the issue of other European teams such as Georgia are more likely tobe the way it could go. Cannot see a southern hemisphere team being invited in.
