Gary Spicer 1
Very well done Ron from first post to maiden 2 weeks 4 days, beautifully constructed Xtra Wot, looks even better in the air
Ron Gray
Thanks for your compliments guys! @Gary - it looks even better in the 'flesh' and would have looked better still had it not been raining today up at the field. But I have to say, I was chuffed to bits with it, bearing in mind that was my first 'proper' flying session since the 19th March, it went really well. Tim Flyer
Very nice . A great model! The tail skid certainly makes a noise , but the recording volume was quite high I guess as the rain Could be heard ( or what sounded like rain). It certainly flies well and looks the part. Ron Gray
Thanks Tim and yes, it was the rain you can hear! I was determined to get the maiden flight done, and due to the rain I was only able to get 1 1/2 flights in but as it was the first in over 3 months I wasn't complaining. Ron Gray
Yes Nigel, a bit of oak and I cut half a dozen for future use, although I'll probably forget where I put them.
