Russ P
A recent article appeared in my local press regarding an application to use drones to deliver samples to hospitals. The flight corridor they are planning to use is very close to our flying site, and at a height of 300 feet, could be very interesting. CAA BBC Our chairman is having a very busy year! Martin_K
An aside. Can an ESC (or related) 'park' the vertical lift rotors so neatly fore and aft or was the aircraft arranged that way for the photographer?

Martin_K
Interesting. I know the RC car guys use sensored motors, so possibly that is part of the method to stop (and then hold) the rotors in flight at a specific position. Edited By Martin_K on 28/10/2020 10:59:44 Interesting video! Some of the first brushless motors and ESCs were "sensored" back in the early 1990s (see the Kontronik combination in the attached photo), but the idea was dropped when it was realised we could do everything we wanted (on aircraft) without the sensors, Looks like soemone has now found a use for the technology, so perhaps we will see it bocome popular again.
