Ron Gray
They now do a whole range of glues. I’ve only used the brown, white and clear ones.
Piers Acland
Ron, I have used the foaming brown plenty of times but not the clear version. How does it (the clear) generally perform in your experience? Thanks Piers
Ron Gray
Like all Gorilla glues, very well! (It’s supposed to be as strong as the brown). My ‘go to’ general purpose glue is now the white one as it has a fairly fast grab time and I’ve found it to be very strong. I’m going to try their epoxy next as I’ve been told that it’s very good. Sorry if getting a bit off topic now! Edited June 23, 2021 by Ron Gray
Piers Acland
Thanks Ron I will give the clear a try. Piers
Matt Carlton
I have used double sided tape with reasonable success where a canopy overlaps so being totally clear isnt necessarily vital. The stuff I use is for carpet fixing so it is plenty strong enough.
Christopher Wolfe
As a keen fly fisherman I tie my own flies and thus have a few specialised materials to hand, so I tried this UV cure resin to attach a canopy to my Tru-line Tiger. Completely clear and cures in 15 seconds with a UV torch. A great result and it appears to be quite fuel proof against the exhaust residue of an OS Max 45 FSR running 5% nitromethane.
