Robert Putley 1
I have upgraded my Spekky DX9 to an iX12. I have a problem assigning any switch for the AX3 giro. I would like that to be switch B. Any ideas?
Denis Watkins
Page 130 - 134 in the manual Robert. Check your Monitor screen to see where Switch B operates 1st, as this may change.
Robert Putley 1
Thank you Dennis. Done that. But no joy. Checked monitor as suggested, switch works together with the appropriate sound.
Denis Watkins
The AS3x has its own, software, downloads, upgrades and programming, as you may know. There are 2 sides to setting up, and I would set up the receiver 1st, then bind your Tx to it. You can't hit and miss, trial and error with these as there are so many variables. The Spektrum site, together with youtube, has it all.
Robert Putley 1
Many thanks Dennis. I also have the same problem assigning a switch for a "Guardian" gyro.

I also have the same problem assigning a switch for a "Guardian" gyro. 1st things 1st. Most stabilizers default on/ off is Channel 5. Just one make I came across was on Channel 6. Electronic on/ off, is 0 zero off, 1 positive On, or in our parlance, 0% to 100%. From the start, using the screen Monitor, make sure of your start point by watching Ch5 go 0% - 100% and Working, before you assign the switch. Switch assign is in the Manuals And here, your start point e.g. Flap, Ch5, or Switch B, is reassigned for e.g. To Switch D, or your choice, and can be seen moving on the Monitor. Robert Putley 1
I have tried all this. Channel 5 is correct. Switch B is correct, as tried tested on the monitor. have also tested with a Lemon/gyro rx, and the latest 10 channel Spektrum rx with built in altimetet telemetry. All to no avail. I am an unable to assiogn the channel that I need. i think my best bet is to contact Spektrum comminity./
Denis Watkins
When you get on to the Spektrum Community Give more info Robert. If all of the gear is new, or preowned. If all the upgrades are up to date. If AS3x has been set up on computer, or is at its out of box default. They will help you.
