Tim Mackey
I take it the slave unit is powered off before plugging in the buddy lead, and that you have assigned the correct master /slave switch on the master Tx?
Kelly
Hi Tim,Yes it is powered off.Master/slave trainer function on on the master on,off on the slave.Set up everything as per the manual, slave Tx will not power up ?Puzzled?Kelvin
David McMullan
Hi Kelvin,As the slave Tx is powered from the master Tx in buddy mode it sounds as if you might have a faulty lead. I had a bit of a problem with a "compatible" lead (poor soldering at the plug was to blame) binned it and bought a genuine Futaba lead. No probs after that.Dave

260 Flyer
It could also be one of the sockets on the Tx's. I had to position the plug just right on my 6EX to get my flight sim to run. I tried another cable that worked perfectly on the FF7 but still had the same problem. After exchanging my Tx for the recall problem solved, but now I have an annoying "knock" n the aileron stick.Quality aint what it used to be! Kelly
Could well be Rob.The green light on the back of the master Tx flashes red and green instead of the steady green without the lead, same thing with the other Tx when I try that in the master mode.Looks like a cable or socket problem? Richard Duvall
You have to activate the trainer function through the programming
