martin collins 1
Just bought a quest stomper biplane kit, anyone remember these, looking for more information, a search on the net brought nothing up.
RichB
I've got an unstarted kit somewhere in my loft. Designed for a 60 2-stroke IIRC. Always liked the looks. Not sure I'll ever get around to building it now though.
martin collins 1
My kit is missing the box lid and there appear to be no instructions, just the plans and the sheet pictured showing an exploded view, does your kit have any instructions in it Rich? RichB
Just had a quick look and there is a lot of stuff to shift before I can reach the kit! I'll see if I can get to it in the morning.
Denis Watkins
Priory Models Had assembly diagrams just like those Martin And used preformed Turtle decks on top of the fuselage. I just wonder if they took over Quest Models. Maybe wrong, but look up the Priory Silhouette.
martin collins 1
My go to flyer is a silhouette and i have one in the box to build, they did a biplane but i don't remember it looking like this one. martin collins 1
Priory bipe was the Reflection, looked at a build thread, whilst construction methods are similar, the plane looks quite a bit different.
RichB
I finally reached the kit! I hope the attached pics help. I think the 40 to 60 engine size is a bit optimistic especially for engines from the 1975 era.
martin collins 1
Many thanks for that Rich, i guessed it should have had instructions but the guy i bought it off argued that the diagram was probably all that came with it in those days! I have sent you a pm as well..............M
