Paul De Tourtoulon
A club member has bought new sticks with switches on the end any one changed them , I can't see weather they are drilled to take the wires. thanks Paul
Jesus Cardin
Stick switches should include a switch, a mechanised stick top to accept the switch and a drilled stick bar for passing the cables. Most Futaba radios need changing the stick bar for installing switch sticks, although I know some models already mount drilled bar. I do not know about the FX-20, sorry. Paul De Tourtoulon
Yes my FX-30 is pre drilled, I didn't want him to take the stick housings to pieces as it means recalibrating the potentiometers.
Jesus Cardin
You do not need taking the stick mechanism to pieces, although it is the best way to go. Regarding reclaibrating, if I remember correctly the FX-20 has the same software as the old 8FG, which includes a calibrating menu and it is not needed any special service software to recalibrate the main controls.
