Phil Green
Purely by chance I've recently been in contact with Paul Howey, the designer of the Cotswold UHF set. He is a really nice bloke and is now doing a lot of work in monitoring bird, fish and animal populations via incredibly tiny transmitters. Please check out his site, it really is fascinating for both technology and conservation reasons: https://www.microwavetelemetry.com/ In chatting, Paul mentioned that Cotswold sets were almost impossible to come by 40 years on, and that he would love a set to restore to as-new condition. Now some time ago I was given a full Cotswold set, and I couldnt resist - if anyone deserves this set, its Paul. No money involved of course but a sincere "if ever you need an RF test lab..." promise which was much appreciated. Aren't happy people brilliant? 👍 Cheers Phil
