I'm sure they are better. But £120 better?  I doubt they'll improve a model's flying characteristics by any noticeable amount, and may make you think "these switches feel cheap, I'd better replace them", leading you to the point where nothing is the original cheap and cheerful Radiomaster.

 

I'm pretty sure I can find at least a hundred better homes for £120.  But it's an entirely personal choice of course.

Additionally this is what I have learned from other forums.

 

The original plastic Hall effect gimbals had temperature drift issues.  The AG01soffers a better electronic design so are well worth the upgrade.

 

However, the latest plastic Hall effect gimbals use exactly the same electronics as the AG01s so the difference is much more marginal and harder to justify.
