Andy Symons - BMFA
1 hour ago, Frank Skilbeck said: I think the answer is if you are getting your operator ID directly from the CAA then you need to do their test, if you are getting it via the BMFA (or LMA) then you need to comply with their test/requirements. The RCC test can be used as proof of CAA recognised competency by any BMFA member, it does not matter whether you got your Operator ID through the CAA or LMA etc.
Andy Symons - BMFA
There seems to be a lot of confusion still about Op Id's and flyer Ids. I have recapped it all in the next edition of the BMFA News which will be landing on doormats imminently.
Nick Cripps
Andy, can you please explain why I was able to renew my CAA registration when renewing my BMFA membership in December yet there are several of my club fellow members who are currently unable to do so? This is despite the CAA expiry date being the same (21st February).
