Terry Plumridge 1
FlySky FS-i6x Tx FlySky FS-ia6b Rx Easystar3. I am aware of the need for a 90 deg. configuration but cannot decide on the best place to put the antenna. Would completely inside the foam fuselage be OK. Thanks for any advice, Terry. J D 8
Yes, fine inside a foam or balsa fuselage. It is carbon fibre that causes problems. I had problems with one aircraft that used carbon control rods to the tail. Moving aerial a couple of inches away sorted it.
Nigel Heather
Note, it is only the tips that are actually the antennas - only those parts need to be at 90 degrees, the rest of the wire can be run together, you don't have to position the full lengths of the wires at 90 degrees Edited May 3, 2023 by Nigel Heather
