Rocker
I thought Dx6 Gen 2 would have Forward Programing but it dies not I have an AR 630 AS3X/SAFE receiver and tried to install it on my FMS Mustang .I did the bind and it bound all OK bit I had no Forward Programing on my DX6.I changed transmitter to a DX8 ,bound it all up again and on the DX8 there was Forward Progaming I take it the DX6 does not respond to the AR630 AS3X/SAFE .The AR630 bind all OK on the DX6 and works OK but I can not set up AS3C or SAFE on the DX6 Not a problem I will just use the DX8 but I thought the DX6 would of been OK
Rocker
Just realised I have retracts and flap .Maybe it was because all 6 channels where in use and that us why no Forward Planning came up
Kim Taylor
Hi, You need to make sure that you have the latest firmware installed on your DX6 - downloadable from Spektrum website. To do this, you also have to have the Tx registered to you on their system - if you bought it new, you probably have this done already. I updated my DX8g2 recently to enable forward programming and it all works OK. If you have retracts and flaps, you won't be able to use the DX6 for AS3X / SAFE, which normally uses ch5, so as you've done, use the '8 Kim
Johnny Crash
I just upgraded my DX6 this afternoon. Pierce or cake. Go to My Spectrum and go to downloads. Easy peezy! Best Wishes to you.
