Also an 80 inch lysander only needs about a 70fs, 200 would tear it a new one! A friend has the black horse 100 inch job with a very over propped 180 in it. Takeoff and cruise is easy at half throttle so you are looking at 100 inch plus for a 200 equipped lysander.

Chris Freeman 3
The Sarik Lysander is very nice but it is a very serious build, Dennis Bryant was a very good designer but not shy of using lots of parts and wood. The Sarik parts are very good for this design and will be a great project. Jon is correct regarding the required power.
David perry 1
Thanks. Might skip it having looked at it...it is a serious scale job and probably not my bag. I like good stand off scale myself...
Jon H
The BH lysander is pretty nice. 100 inch sounds huge but its not a big issue to store and transport as the wings are pretty dinky when off the model. It is very tall though with the large undercarriage but the fuselage is quite short.
David perry 1
I think compared to the seagull one the bh looks too perky. Its u/c isnt right. The seagull is a peach but i need a radial...

The seagull is a peach but i need a radial... A 200v/FT would fly it fine. People tend to go mad with the power and fit the bigger saito radials. The saito 200 radial might work if you can coax it into turning a big enough prop
