Jean Tardif Posted August 13, 2023 Share Posted August 13, 2023 Hello Golden Age racers....Fans., I build this famous Laird Turner Meteor...PESCO SPECIAL 1938 version., fron Jim Young T & J Models.,partial kits, I build from conventional balsa and plywood ,construction . follows also for somes reference RCM Modeler magazine plan NO:1112...the model have a wing span 51.5 inch., 490 sq.inch., I use natural solartex for covering the wing and the rear section of the fuselage , with a fews coats (3) of nitrade clear dope., for the front section of the fuselage and cowl, I use 3/4 oz. fiberglass cloth with resine,. ,for solid rivets application details., for power-up I use a Scorpion 4025-10 515 kv., with 5-S 3,800 Lipo., with 15 X 8 prop., max. 50 amps., 900 watts. model weight 6 popunds , for color I using automotive Dupli-color lite slate met color., model with is set-up is blast the sky!...pretty fast...Happy flyig.....Cheers 13 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
