I always calibrate any new ESC with the TX as soon as I get it, that way when I plug it in it should "just work" when it's installed. Takes seconds, but saves on snafus like this.

PS - Model inside, twin motors running with props on, held in just one hand one hand arm outstretched, pointing at a camera... What could possibly go wrong?!!

Twin mustang ,two batteries for balance I built a few years ago had me stumped until I slaved one throttle , should work with identical ESCs . One motor started a fraction later, but not noticeable in the air.

Unforunately not a matched pair of ESC's. That would have been better. Matched pair of motors though..

Yes, a good idea. I have never bothered as they have always just worked up until this time. I will in future you can bet!

My first Lidl glider build was EDF on top , second twin boom prop pusher Venom , third maidened on Wed this week, twin boom Venom EDF, too early after just one flight for full report but fantastic glide, ended up 40 yards overshoot past end of strip so promising

They are great fun for converting, 9 made now!  I didn't have a lot of success with my twin boom prop pusher, still trying to get it to fly well. Watch this space.

Have you tried biplane? That was a challenge.
