Ingrid Lunau 1
Hello, I have a powered Discus sailplane. The TX is a Spekky iX12. The problem I am having is that when I program the model under "sailplane". I wish to move the throttle control to the LHL, as the throttle stick will be used as per normal for sailplanes for the airbrakes. Unfortunately when you go into Assign next to throttle we have N/A, which means I cannot move the throttle control to another switch!! Anyone have any ideas? Shaun Walsh
If it's anything like the DX range I think you have to choose ACRO to have throttle available, SAILPLANE assumes no motor hence no option to reassign. On one of my motor gliders I have both throttle and spoiler controlled from the left stick, function is flipped using a 2 position switch but you have to remember to cut the motor using the motor kill switch before engaging flaps instead of throttling down otherwise it does a spectacular dive!
