Peter Wood
I Have now seen the Multiplex mentor and cannot decide which to go for. The Apprentice is slightly cheaper, but includes a TX and RX, which I don't need. Has any one flown both. or even winessed both flyingPeter

David Ashby - Moderator
I've Flown both Peter. .......and both fly very well. The Mentor is bigger so she'll be better in a breeze. The Apprentices shorter nose leg means she may require a hand launch if the grass is long but the Mentor is a taildragger with big wheels and strong undercarriage so she's better in this respect. Mentor is probably stronger owing to the size. Both will do 15+ mins flight times on a 3300mah pack, the Apprentice closer to 30 mins in fact owing to the smaller motor drawing less current. Allan Bowker
Peter, I presume you have looked on the BMFA website for clubs in your area? It's also worth ringing or callling in at your local models shops too, they tend to know where the flying sites are. Not clubs all are to be found on the BMFA site, I have come across some private sites by word of mouth in shops.

Peter Wood
I have been told that there are a group of flyers who fly from Bury field in Newport Pagnall but am unable to locate them. If you are one of them please contact me. Peter
