  2. Has anyone flown this 3 axis gyro controlled receiver. I seemed to set it up ok but was advised that I need to set the gains. I wondered how to set the gains. I followed the instructions for the ailerons but could not work out how to set up the rudder and elevator before replacing the wing. Peter
  3. Posted by IanR on 09/08/2012 20:29:41: Hello Aky (?) I am watching avidly. I rang SLEC a couple of days ago to ask if they thought the Funfly would easily convert to electric. I was told they were already working on it themselves and to give it another 5/6 weeks by which time the conversion should be ready. The speed you're going at you'll be long finished by then - great! Looking forward to seeing your progress. Cheers Ian (Incidentally, I think you've overdone it a bit with the G clamp) I also tried a year ago to convert to electric, so they sold me a spare fuselage , but don't hold your breath about waiting for the convertion. peter 5
  4. Posted by The Stig on 26/07/2012 10:45:59: Hi guys, thinking of getting this one in the collection as everyone seems to rate it, just wondering if an an sc46 2 stroke would be ok, or would it be recommended to fit a 70fs? I was wondering about a 46, I am more of a sedate flyer rather than a holigan Pete

  18. Posted by Steve W-O on 14/02/2012 19:52:11: After my experiences with the wot4foame and ripmax's lack of interest, I don't think I would be interested, much as I would like one. Why does the foam one have to be smaller? 20% is hardly "slightly" smaller. Fitting any receiver is a gamble, you make it easier for those with a matching transmitter, and harder for those without. There was many a plane my son would have liked, but they came with a Spktrum receiver, so were of no use, or at least a waste of money. Must agree with NigelH's comments. 20 per cent fits in the car assembled. I had a wot 4 foam but broke the wing. Costs a fortune to replace so no-one stocks it. Still might buy acrowot to replace it. Peter
  19. I have found the fokker at Als hobbies less than 3 miles from my home Pete
