hi there , i have recently purchased Phoenixrc and have updated to version 2q. i have used multiplayer a couple of times and it has worked fine. i do have trouble connecting though.( i realise that passworded sessions are not available). on many other sessions though i am still unable to join in. it this to do with the port settings. ( i am using the auto setting) or do people generally just not like me.

cheers andyh

It will be port settings, (I have nothing against you) There is more than 1 place you have configure things. 1. at your router: ports 9000 - 9005 need forwarding using udp protocol to you pc's ip address. and 2. Check the firewall on the pc is letting the data through. That's the theory, exactly what buttons you need to push depends on which router and which operating system you are running. Google should be able to help with specific routers.

Hi Andy

It doesn't always work even if your settings are correct    Do the port forwarding as above, As it is necessary for the program to communicate.  If you are not sure how to do this - it is explained on the Pheonix website.  I would also suggest if you are running a anti virus software like eg Norton.  then disable it when you want to fly on the net,  it should then give you more connection sucess.
