David Ashby - Moderator
Nasa Steve and I managed one flight each before we high-tailed it today, I can't think of a colder day for many a year. Anyone else brave it?
Bruce Richards
My son and I went to the patch. No one there. I had one fly of my EDF delta Foamy and we went off for a burger and home. It was cold and misty and the ground was frozen solid. Not nice.

Dave S.
I had a couple of flights at -17 a few days ago, now it is +2 and windy. There's something very special about the air when it's really cold and crisp. Dave S, Elimäki, Finland
Bruce Richards
I do not mind the cold as long as it is clear, sunny and still. Cold and misty with a little breeze is a bad combination.

Ben Mullins
Seems pretty normal down here though, barely any wind, a bit warmer than it has been and a little damp, nothing like you've got up in Scotland!
Andy Harris
My son Cameron and I found the patch empty.Managed to test fly the Mini Pulse XT which has swapped over to 2.4G on a christmas DX6i.Fingers locked in 5 mins of cold, needing a warm-up in the car between flights.Knocked the undercarriage of my Seb Art Katana 30 with a super gentle landing on the rock hard grass (this is at least the 10th time the U/C has popped off).Even the indoor flying at Reading was sub-zero!
