Jimbo565
Peter, Big Lizzy had its first flight yesterday and it flew a treat,Irvine 61 is just right,I may have to move the U/C from the wing ( ala cap 21) to just in front of F2 to prevent nose overs. I am delighted. Jim

John Whoriskey
what engine do you recomend for it as i have an os 46 la in it and it looks way to bigf but it flys fine and thanks for the reply mr miller
Jimbo565
John, My first Miss Lizzy ( tequila sunrise ) had an Irvine 46 up front and it flew absolutely magic so a 46 is fine. When Peter first designed the model he had a small diesel in it .I have built 6 of these for guys in the club and they always cause great interest, Jim. John Whoriskey
thank you jim its just with my 46 and the right fuel the thing is FAST where could i finde the plans??in case i pile this one in
Peter Miller
Mine still flies in someone elses hands with an SC .32. But if yours flies well with a .46 fine. The LA is a plain bearing engine and so will not deliver quite the same power as aBB engine. Also, as I have been saying else where, doubling the power doesn't come anywhere enar doubling the speed but it will make the vertical performance better. Have fun Peter
Peter Miller
I can email a set of the original 2 sheet AO plans in PDF format or I can send a CD wi6ht much higher quality drawings if you need them. Even with Broadband it would take rather a long time for the larger files.
